AI training and workforce readiness for critical power infrastructure

Build deployable power engineers in months, not years.

Voltheia trains power engineers on real test hardware, coaches every procedure with a vision AI instructor, and proves readiness before anyone touches a live panel.

Problem

The people training new engineers are the same people keeping power running. They are retiring.

01

Senior engineers are stretched thin.

Live operations and new-hire training compete for the same hours.

02

Readiness takes 18 to 24 months.

Traditional apprenticeship depends on one senior engineer standing over one trainee.

03

Institutional knowledge is leaving.

When experienced engineers retire, practical procedure memory goes with them.

04

Continuity is at risk.

Operators cannot develop qualified talent at the pace critical infrastructure demands.

18-24Months to produce a deployable engineer
1 in 3US engineering roles unfilled (BCG, 2023)
58%Data center operators cannot find qualified staff (Uptime Institute, 2023)
32%US data center engineers over 60, and 16% under 30 (AFCOM, 2025)
Outcomes

Scale readiness, not supervision.

  • Train larger cohorts without a senior engineer in every session.
  • Catch procedural errors while they can still be corrected safely.
  • Preserve operational knowledge as experienced engineers retire.
  • Give employers evidence of readiness instead of paper training records.
Book a pilot

See readiness evidence on your own equipment.

Run a pilot on a single procedure. Your team gets a Technical Readiness Score for every engineer, step by step, in weeks rather than years.

Platform

Specialist, Command, Forge. One system.

01 / Voltheia Specialist

Coach the procedure as it happens.

Engineers practise on the Secondary Injection Test Set, the same device they use on live sites. A camera on the rig identifies the step in progress, catches wiring and procedural errors, and coaches the correction out loud while their hands are busy.

02 / Voltheia Command

See who is ready for live work.

Every session ends in a Technical Readiness Score, a pass or fail record of each procedure step. Employers use it to decide who goes on a live 22kV job.

03 / Voltheia Forge

Every session makes the instructor better.

Synchronised video, actions, errors, corrections, and outcomes from every session become training data. It is how the coaching gets more accurate and how new procedures get added.

How it works

Turn physical procedures into repeatable evidence.

01

Begin

Start a physical procedure on the test set.

02

Observe

Specialist identifies the step and the hardware state.

03

Coach

The engineer hears the correction the moment a step goes wrong.

04

Score

The session becomes a Technical Readiness Score, step by step.

05

Deploy

The employer reviews the evidence in Command before live work.

Physical training

Train on real hardware.

Engineers build procedure memory on the Secondary Injection Test Set, the same device they use on live sites.

Real-time coaching

Catch errors early.

Voltheia Specialist knows which step the engineer is on and coaches the correction out loud while their hands are busy.

Auditable readiness

Deploy with evidence.

Voltheia Command turns every session into a Technical Readiness Score, a pass or fail record of each procedure step.

Why Voltheia

The training system gets stronger with every procedure.

01

Hardware memory

Training and live work happen on the same device, so there is no transition between the rig and the job site.

02

Proprietary data

Voltheia Forge collects procedure footage, errors, and corrections no general purpose model has seen.

03

Knowledge continuity

Voltheia Specialist carries a senior engineer's protocol forward after that engineer retires.

04

Field access

Live 22kV equipment and practising engineers ground every model change in real operational context.

The long view

From training infrastructure to real-time site safety.

01

Training and certification

Produce engineers who can be signed off on live equipment, from low-voltage relay testing through high-voltage critical infrastructure.

02

Credentialing

A portable record of what an engineer has actually demonstrated, that an employer can verify before hiring.

03

Real-time site safety

The same vision models move from the training rig to procedural monitoring on live job sites.

Company

Built from live power engineering.

Voltheia began inside a working 22kV engineering firm. Our CEO spent 3 years training engineers by hand because there was nobody qualified to hire, and two of us went through that curriculum as trainees before we built the product.

Tan Wei Shan

CEO / Co-Founder

Built the hardware test kit and wrote the training curriculum the AI now automates. Managing Director of an active 22kV power engineering firm.

Wesley

CTO / Co-Founder

Leads AI research and building the platform: the vision services and readiness scoring.
